Second day on the shores of the lake. During this stage, you will discover some of the pre-Columbian trails in the region. Nowadays, Bolivians walk these trails every year during the great pilgrimage to Copacabana, which takes place during Holy Week. For the rest of the year, these magnificent trails are seldom used. The views are stunning: from the ridges, you can see the larger and smaller lakes, the snow-capped peaks of the Cordillera Real, and the dozens of islands in the lake.
After acclimatizing by kayak the previous day, the first stage was challenging, covering 18 kilometers at over 3,800 meters in altitude. Starting and finishing in Tiquina, the route includes several viewpoints.
