First acclimatization stage on the crystal-clear waters of Lake Titicaca. The program includes a crossing of the Tiquina Strait, a narrow waterway that divides Lake Titicaca into two. Views of the two lakes, the Royal Mountain Range, and the lively town of Tiquina, a must-stop if you want to cross from one shore to the other.
Today's stage consists of a round trip from our accommodation on the lakeshore to the other side, where trout farms can be seen. In total, it's a relatively easy 4 km route, although there may be a bit of current in the strait.
